Who we are
First Choice Roofing Ltd, company number 14308744, is responsible for the enquiry information you provide. Contact firstchoiceroofing@email.com or write to 63 Morningside Close, Derby, DE24 9JQ.
What we collect and why
Our quotation form collects your name, phone number, optional email address, postcode, the service required and your description of the work. We use these details to respond, prepare quotations and arrange requested work. Please do not include payment information or sensitive personal information in the form.
Enquiries are stored in a protected business inbox. They are available to the authorised business account and are not published on the website. If you call or email us, we also receive the information you choose to provide through those services.
How we use your information
We process enquiry information to take steps at your request before a contract and to carry out agreed work. We may retain relevant records to meet legal obligations and for legitimate business administration, including responding to questions and resolving disputes. We do not use the quotation form to sign you up to marketing.
Website operation and security
The website uses hosting and database services provided through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. They process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service. To limit automated spam, the enquiry service temporarily stores a hashed connection identifier and submission count; expired rate-limit records are removed as the service is used.
Access to the business inbox uses ChatGPT sign-in. Any sign-in service has its own privacy and cookie information. Links to Bark and MyBuilder take you to external websites with their own privacy policies.
Advertising measurement and cookies
Optional Google Ads measurement runs only after you accept measurement cookies. It helps us understand which adverts lead to saved quotation enquiries and calls. Google may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information, page address, advertising click identifiers and conversion events. We send a random enquiry identifier to avoid counting the same submission twice. We do not send the name, contact details, postcode or message from your quotation form to Google Ads, and enhanced conversions and personalised advertising are not enabled.
For visitors referred by an advert, Google may replace our Derby telephone number with a forwarding number connected to our team. Google uses call details, including call time and duration, to measure enquiries. Calls lasting at least 60 seconds are counted as conversions. Our mobile number is not included in this website call measurement.
Google Ads may use first-party cookies such as _gcl_aw and _gcl_au, typically for up to 90 days, and a call-forwarding cookie. Google processes data under its own applicable terms and may process it outside the UK. Read how Google uses information from partner sites and its privacy policy. Google Analytics is not installed.
Accepting or rejecting these optional cookies does not affect our quotation form or telephone service. Use the Cookie settings button to change or withdraw your choice at any time. Your choice is stored on your device for up to six months. Withdrawing consent stops future measurement on this website; it does not undo data already processed. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings.
Retention and service providers
We retain enquiry and work records for as long as needed to handle your request, carry out agreed work and meet relevant legal or record-keeping requirements. Records may be processed by providers supporting our hosting, communications and business administration, or disclosed where required by law. We do not sell your enquiry details.
Your right to object
You can object to use of your information based on legitimate interests. Contact us with your request and we will consider it in light of your circumstances.
Your other rights and questions
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict its use, or receive a portable copy of information you provided. Contact us using the details above. You can also raise concerns with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
